Hello, my name is Jacqui Barry and welcome to the Acu-Reflex website. Please click on the tabs above to navigate through this site. At my clinic in Dundrum I offer a range of Therapies including Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture/Facial Rejuvenation and Reflexology. I work on an appointment only basis. I am approved by BUPA (Quinn Health), VHI and HSA for Out-Patient Insurance purposes.

I am a registered member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland and the Irish Reflexologist Institute. As a registered member of these bodies, patients can be assured of receiving a professional and ethical treatment.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of treatment used in both traditional and classical chinese medicine. Acupuncture is based on the principle that there are energy pathways/channels throughout the body that influence associated internal organs & structures. Extremely fine guage needles are inserted at selected points thereby activating the bodys natural healing abilities.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet and hands which correspond with every part of the body. Through application of pressure on particular areas of the hands and feet reflexology serves to relax tension, improve circulation and promote the natural function of the related areas in the body.
